There are many exciting ways to share in telling the gospel through Christian Surfers. These are our current projects needing funding. To sign up, go to the link for each project, or for more information contact
- 2007 Spanish Surfers Bible, God’s word to the surfing world - a surfer friendly New Testament with culturally relevant testimonies. Currently translated into English, Japanese, French, Portuguese with Spanish as 2007 project. Estimated cost to be US$15,000 for 5000 copies. $US150 will distribute a box of 40 bibles as an evangelistic give away. Visit our donations page and select ’Mission tools’ to support this project.
- 2007 ’Faith in Action’ DVD insert to revised English Surfers Bible. After 70,000 copies of the first edition, a completely revised English Surfers Bible is now in development. It will include a short movie about a mission trip to the tsunami-affected Indonesian communities of Northern Sumatra, including the world-famous surfing location at Nias. The movie will show surfers whose testimonies are in the Surfers Bible sharing their faith, visiting local villages to help with projects, and enjoying the beautiful surfing environment. - 2007 Mini Surfers Bible Gospel of Mark. Based on the revised NT, the mini Surfers Bible is designed as a give-away. Containing full color cover, a selection of inserted surfers’ testimonies and Mark’s gospel. $US200 will give away 100 copies! - International Regional Staff Support Team. Our leadership is our biggest asset. We are a faith-financed mission - there are no salaries paid at all and all staff are dependent on a support network of people who contribute. Join the team of a regional coordinator and help change the surfing culture for Christ. Visit our donations page and select the appropriate person to support.
- International Director’s Leadership Visitation Fund. Brett Davis the International Director largely raises his own funds for visitation so as not to burden nations he visits. He also assists others to visit with him for key leadership development opportunities. Visit our donations page and select ’International Director expenses’ to support Brett.
- International Leadership Scholarships. In 2008 there are regional conferences in Europe, Latin America and Asia. We help raise funds for leaders from struggling economies to attend these leadership training summits. We are looking for 10 scholarships of $US300 each, and 5 travel scholarships of $US1000 each which will make a huge difference to a leader, and their country. Financial partners
As well as these specific needs, Christian Surfers International offers a partnership program for people who would like to be regular financial supporters. Finances raised from partners are used in the general operations of Christian Surfers.
