Donations to Christian Surfers International can be made to the International Mission Development Fund or to general operations. The IMDF is designed to channel money into expanding the Christian Surfers mission through specific projects.
International Mission Development Fund
2009 Projects
- Give Surfers Bibles through key surfing media $AUD250 We are sending the evangelistic NT to key surfing publications to do a product review then give 20 copies to first inquirers. This will raise awareness to thousands of surfers.
- Give Surfers Bibles to key surfer accommodation $AUD100. We are depositing bibles in key surfing crossroads accommodation centres. Local CS groups will replenish and the bibles will make their way around the world.
- Send an investigative short-term mission to an emerging surfing nation $AUD1000. CSI has identified some 20 emerging surfing nations from Morocco to Taiwan and the best way to find contacts is to pray and GO! $AUD1000 is seed money to mobilize a short-term mission to some unreached nation.
- Send a CSI Regional Coordinator to visit their region $AUD500 We are a faith financed mission, no salaries are paid, and related ministry expenses have to be raised as well. Help an RC to develop leadership in their region.
- Give an International Leadership Scholarship $AUD300. Various regional leadership training conference are being offered this year in Latin America, Africa, Europe. Help an emerging leader get the grounding they need.
- Send a Chaplain to an ASP event $AUD250 CSI has been approved to implement chaplaincy via its network to the world surfing pro tour. All chaplains are currently volunteers and we want to prioritise key ASP event chaplains.

Donor agreement regarding use of IMDF funds
Christian Surfers aims to complete all projects mentioned in its promotional material. If this is impossible (for example, because of something unexpected happening), gifts to the Fund for that project may be applied to other uses consistent with the overall purpose of the Fund, with a priority to completing any existing funding commitments. If more money is raised for a particular project than is actually needed, the same policy applies - excess funds may be applied to other uses consistent with the overall purpose of the Fund.
